BillZo Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the BillZo mobile application (“App”) and related services. By downloading, installing, registering, or using BillZo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. About BillZo

BillZo is a point-of-sale and business management application for shops and small businesses. It provides features such as billing, invoicing, inventory, customer and supplier management, expenses, reports, printing, staff access, and optional online sync.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction and use the App for lawful business purposes. If you register on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

3. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use BillZo for your internal business operations, subject to these Terms and applicable app store rules.

You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where allowed by law;
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App except as permitted by law;
Use the App to violate any law, tax rule, or third-party rights;
Interfere with or disrupt the App, its security, sync services, or related systems;
Access accounts, shops, or data you are not authorized to access.

4. Accounts, Shops, and Staff

You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and staff permissions.
You are responsible for actions taken through your shop account and authorized staff users.
You must provide accurate registration and shop information.
We may suspend or terminate access for security, abuse, non-payment, or legal reasons.

5. Your Business Data

You retain ownership of the business records and content you create in BillZo (“User Content”), including products, customers, invoices, and reports. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and backup of your business data.

You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, sync, back up, and display User Content solely to provide and improve the App and related services.

6. Offline Use, Sync, and Backups

BillZo supports offline operation with local storage on your device.
Online sync and cloud backup depend on network availability and active service status.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and verifying critical records.
We are not liable for loss resulting from device failure, uninstallation, sync conflicts, or user error where reasonable backup practices were not followed.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase through Google Play or other supported platforms. Prices, billing cycles, renewals, and refunds are governed by the applicable store’s terms and any plan terms shown in the App. You are responsible for applicable taxes and charges.

8. Printing, Sharing, and Third-Party Services

BillZo may integrate with Bluetooth/USB printers, messaging apps, email, cloud storage, payment methods, and other third-party services you choose to use. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, security, or policies.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BillZo to:

Issue fraudulent invoices or misrepresent transactions;
Store or process unlawful content;
Harass customers or misuse contact information;
Overload, probe, or attack our systems;
Circumvent subscription, licensing, or access controls.

10. Disclaimers

BillZo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free calculations, printer compatibility with every device, or that the App will meet every regulatory requirement in your jurisdiction without proper configuration and professional advice.

Reports, tax summaries, and totals are based on data you enter. You remain responsible for tax compliance, accounting, and legal invoicing requirements.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App or subscription in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

13. App Store Terms

If you downloaded BillZo from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, your use is also subject to the applicable store’s terms. Store providers are not responsible for the App or its content except as required by their policies.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise. Disputes will be handled by courts with competent jurisdiction unless consumer protection or app store rules require a different forum.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
